It was a very sweaty Mother’s Day morning for those who went to my mom’s Zumba class. It was the third time I took photos of one of her classes and probably one of my favourites. Mostly because everyone was so into it and the kids were rocking it. They danced better than me that’s for sure.
I’m still having a love/hate relationship with my Tamron 28-105 2.8 lens. It’s so soft at 2.8 which loses its purpose in my eyes. I used it at the beginning for maybe 3 minutes then quickly changed to my 50mm 1.8G which I always love. However, I wanted more length and my 85mm 1.8D helped with that. I’ve used that in her previous classes and was happy with the outcome. I’m debating whether or not to keep my Tamron. It’s fine for family events when I have my sb-600 attached but it’s just not good enough when I want it at 2.8. Maybe eventually – in a very long eventually – I’ll get me the fabulous Nikon AF-S 24-70 F2.8 G ED. Oh to dream.
